Keen on kitch

I don't often go there - but every now and then kitch can work. This guy hangs in my kitchen. Purchased at a dollar shop last Christmas and stripped of his red bow, 'Fergus' has managed to stay with us all year.

Warakurna artists

The best part about adorning your wallsis that you can go with whatever moves you. In my opinion it is as simple as that. I was struck by this vibrant piece by Dorcas Tinnimay Bennett. This and other paintings are available for sale directly from Warakurna Artists and all proceeds are returned to the artists.

Designing around the sun

source

At the bench on a glorious morning at my place. Morning sun in a kitchen sets the scene for the entire day. I am currently designing an addition to our new little cottage and tracking my precious morning sun - it will determine where the new kitchen windows go.

Pony Rider on the bed. Their black and white cushions are my favourite right now. For the locals, you can source them at Hive in Braddon, Canberra.

Overdyed rugs by Loom. Talk about instant impact. If all that is left
to finish of a room is a splash of colour, then you can't go past one of these. The colours are simply stunning.
